Canzone

If a fairytale came suddenly alive
I would put a candle in the window
Come near....We won't share,
I joy to give joy to you.

You'll answer even the sad voice
Because you are bright and
Tender, because you were once
Promised me by lilac and the moon.

But....these moments come when
Terror empties my breast....
Oppressing me--I turn mute and bent....
I want to be alone....Go!
