Of Mountains and Marriage Like a marriage, a mountain is born of fire and energy It spends its lifetime changing It brings out the best in those who understand its structure who cherish its spirit who respect it And it is no place to lose your nerve. Scaling a mountain is best done as a team made up of people who know that speaking is often unnecessary but laughter is always essential Like climbing a mountain marriage is fun and hard maddening and exhilarating And something that you will succeed at if you remember to lean on each other, and keep on trying, one step at a time.
